I had sex without any birth control in January around the first or second week. I got my period in January although it was a little late. In February I also had sex although we used the pulling out method. I normally get my period around the 25th of the month and as of yet I have not got my period. Do you think I am pregnant? And if so, since when.

P.S. I am married so this is not a huge deal but I am just curious and don't want to freak out my husband by getting a test yet.

Well he must have done something right because I got my period today, about an hour after I posted this. :D And I did talk to my husband and we have now decided we will try to have a baby. So, thank you all for your responses! :)

A joke me and my husband used to say:

Q: What do you call people who use the withdrawal method?

A: Parents!

Yeah, we did that for a little while when we didn't care if we got pregnant or not - but it was a possibility we definitely recognized.

Since the second instance, since you did get a period in January...unfortunately, pulling out is the least effective (and also messiest!) form of birth control. There is a good chance you may be expecting a baby at this point. The test takes seconds... do it at the mall or something, then you don't have to freak him out!

Yup. You can. Preejaculation can contain sperm--anyone who uses the pull out method is playing with fire.

How late was your period in January? A few days or a week or more? If it was more than a week late, you probably had a miscarriage.

When you became pregnant is up for grabs. Doctors will, until they can measure and compare the size of your uterus and the fetus, take your due date from the first day of your last period.

Looks like you're pregnant!

Absolutely you could be pregnant. Before the man even gets close to ejaculation, a small bead of sperm is released onto the tip of his penis. Pulling out is not an effective form of birth control.

You also could just be stressed, give your body some time and then get a test if you don't have your period. Good luck, hon.

Wow..you are having sex without having this type of knowledge! That is scary.. Yes, you can get pregnant even from pulling out, and you should get to a dr. ASAP and get a pregnancy test, along with a talk with your doctor about other birth control methods.

Honey where have you been. That pull out method does not work because the man cannot always tell and there can be seman leaking before a climax so that method is about as good as the Rhythm method which is why I have 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

You could be pregnant... If the 1st day of your Dec. period was 12/25, your most fertile time would have been Jan. 8- Jan. 11. And you had sex during that time, it seems like.
Don't freak out. Babies are a Gift. :)
Good luck!

Yes absolutely you could be pregnant. Pulling out doesn't work. You usually count from the first day of your last period to find out how far along you are. Good Luck!!

get a test girl, women get pregnant that way all the time.

There's no telling when you got pregnant. Doctor's will ask you when the first day of your last period was, and they will go off of that.

Best of luck

Yes you could be pregnant...pre-ejaculate contains sperm so you might as well not even pull out. Just go and get a test, and do it by yourself...and show hubby results if you are...that way if oyu aren't you won't have stressed him out.
