Was this the biggest hoax in Human History?

It was only a question bourne out of research that i have been doing. I really wanted to gauge the level of interest and feeling and i see tha they are still very high. I am a Brit and I have no leaning either way on conspiracy theories or not. But some of your answers did confirm me to me that some of you yanks are stil gung-ho unfortunatley

First of all there are some facts that no one can ignore. Asama Bin Laden was trained by the Americans he was an ally of the US as long as Soviet Union existed, he also comes from Saudi Arabia a strong ally of the US in the region of middle east. If i am not wrong he has studied in an American university to. It is very weird how three air planes flew without any control for so long and the one of these three manage to hit the Pentagon. How is it possible that the secret intelligence of USA or Britain or Israel did not find out anything? This is the most amazing since they manage to find out a lot of less significant things. After all these and there are more, each person can make his own conclusions .

maybe not specifically carried out, but it seems they had prior knowledge or were part of the plan. Looking back, it seems that they would use that hoax as a way for the Executive Branch to get more power over the other two branches. They could do things that would otherwise be considered un-Constitutional under the guise of "finding the terrorists". They could also go around the planet and attack whoever they felt was a threat with or without any evidence. Bottom line, it was a great opportunity to advance the agenda of "Project for a New American Century".

I don't know who perpetrated 9/11, but would still like to know 2 things that no site has explained yet: Why is there only 1 video tape showing an explosion at the Pentagon? (It doesn't even show anything hit the building and the Pentagon should be crawling with surveillance cameras located all over the area!) and In Shanksville, why was the plane disintegrated, and no blood or bodies found yet I.D.'s and licenses found unscathed? I am not a conspiracy theorist but would like plausible explanations for this and have seen none. I checked out that "Debunked" site and these were not addressed unless I missed it.

No, but the war on Iraq was. Bush is a war criminal; so you can add that to his other qualities and achievements, namely: spending the social security budget, lying to the American people and the world (good old Scooter's taken the can for a tiny smidgen of those lies), being the worst president ever, being a national and global embarrassment. Thank goodness that by law he will be out of a job soon - never to return. Up until now, all of the verifiable facts and consensus is indicating that these conspiracies are perpetrated by people, regardless of their impressive credentials, that will not publish their "findings" in any type of scientific venue that can be reviewed by their peers. Why is that?

No. The US government (or a secret cabal thereof) couldn't hope to keep committing such a stunt secret. Besides, Osama bin Laden has admitted to planning and carrying out the attack on camera. What more do you need?
