It is a sign of a small, shallow mind that differentiates people by race. Since all races are EXACTLY the same in value as another, the only way to make one race appear to be less important is to cut them down. Intelligent, educated people don't make this mistake. They know that this is not the way to world peace or cultural diversity.
If someone is still bias toward their own race, but has education and a proper upbringing, it is usually a self generated anger against other human beings, they will face God's judgement later. No person worth their weight should ever, ever pass judgement on another race. That is suggesting that one person who makes a bad move or mistake is the "representative" for that entire race, or heritage. How silly is that?
Though I have never owned a gun, (nor has my father), people generally associate my Italian heritage to Al Capone and other Italian gangsters. Why? I am not a gangster. I dont' have a gun, never killed anyone, don't want to. But the simple minds that have nothing good to say about anyone usually try to find fault with an entire race or heritage in order to make them look "normal" or better than everyone.
Suppose we differentiate people by whether they gossip, or not? Who would proudly admit that they are part of that group?
If you don't like a person, stay away from them...but, don't judge a whole group by that person. If we are respected by the strength of our character, do we really want to be so quick to gossip about others?

"obvious"?
anyway, creating a list of who you trust and who you don't trust based on race anywhere outside of your own family is a recipe for disaster.
but an easy way to look at it is that some people are just not that smart and think that life and social interaction is like matching socks out of the dryer.

I don't think that too many people do any more, and the ones who do should be stopping soon. I think that the police have us doing that..."We're looking for a tall, black male, last seen in the company of a short, Korean woman...".

because of the obvious differences and the fact of human nature that makes you trust those like you and distrust those who are different.
