I want it to be the best hidden stat that few know. Not typical stats like runs and RBI's, and WHIP

Check out the article on my frontpage below.

For hitters, focus on OBP/SLG and for pitchers look at K/9 or K/BB.

Young hitters tend to hit more doubles than home runs initially, but as they develop their home run numbers increase as well.

Strikeouts for pitchers show a player's ability to dominate, and K/BB is a good reflection of this.

its hard to tell

pitchers-K's or WHIP don't trust wins and saves, era is useful but WHIP is just a better, it shows haw many runners the pitcher is putting on base.

for hitters its more difficult..........average is useful but can be deceiving, home runs can take away from average, Sb's show speed and are the easiest stat to interpret hmmmmmmmmm..... in the end I'm gonna say RBI's it shows that the player is getting to bat with men on base and he is driving in runs. also high RBI men typically have solid averages and home run numbers.
