Dog walking, baby sitting, animal shelters, ask neighbors if they will hire you to do stuff like: cut grass, wash windows, light house-keeping. Be a grocery shopper for the elderly who can't get out to the store. Advertise by putting up flyers in your community and in the local paper, if you have one, for the jobs you would like to offer. How about being a "reader" for lonely people in hospitals or nursing homes? If their vision is poor, you could read stories to them or the paper, etc. How about doing "pet therapy" in rehabilitation centers. Do you have a sweet and gentle dog, for example? Sometimes the lonely and the elderly are rarely touched and it means a lot to them to hold a warm, fuzzy, sweet pet. Ask yourself, "what would I like to do?" Good luck . . .

Yes, it does vary ... dpending on where you live but .... many employers can hire you when you are 14. You may need to get working papers.
There may be a limit to how many hours or what hours you can work during a school day or week. Normally,, on days off from school and weekends ...... you can work 8 hrs or more. There are also limitations to what kinds of machinery you can operate and such.
I know in New Jersey fast food chains like McDonald and others will hire 14 yr olds with papers. Many employers are looking for laborers to fill these ower paying jobs and if you are a good worker ---- you should be able to find one. You have to look look look, talk to others ... apply at businesses etc.
Good luck !

Where I live, only fast food places and pizza places hire 15 year olds. Not the ideal job, but it brings in cash.

Most fast food places, some larger retail stores but a lot don't want too because if they wait till you are 16 you can work later. If there is a place you would like to work just call and ask.

You cannot legally work in any business establishment until you are 16, but you can make money by running errands for people in the neighborhood, cutting grass, walking people's dogs, etc.
