You need not complain if you don't have the visa when you go to Nepal. Am sure, there isn't heavy queueing at the immigration that you have to stay long. Just be prepared with your passport.

Have been to Nepal in 2005, entering the country twice. The first time it was at night, our place had been delayed, and there were only two queues to enter the country, it was indeed slow. the second time it was faster, as it was daytime and they had more staff. The procedures are not complicated. Sometimes tourists complain, some just cannot wait in line and get mad. But this can happen anywhere. You can get a visa on arrival at the airport, you should have two identical id pictures with you.

Hi there !
Traveling to Nepal is more convenient than traveling to other Asian countries. You have alternatives- either you take visa from consulates, embassies abroad or get the visa upon arrival.
Rules to enter a country has to be fulfilled and the procedures may take more time while there are many people trying to get visa at the airport. So it is better if you take visa prior you reach Nepal airport (Tribhuwan International Airport).
If you are from country other than India you need to take visa. if you require detail information please write to any travel agent in Nepal as they can advise you better.

Its better you get visa before you leave your country ,its more save time ..... otherwise you will on long lines for on arrival visa.....if you not get visa before arrival ,so as you arrive at airport ,you have fill a visa form (get ready your picture with you, other wise you got expensive there) and then go to line.just pay visa fee in one counter and next counter got your passport.... no problem I think.... i was Ben there......
