Just put one drop of rubbing alcohol into the ear and allow it to set for a second, then turn your head to the other side and the water should drain out.

What i used to do was take a small cup with water put some more water in my ears, sit there with the water in my ears for a min or two then tip my head over onto towel and all the water would come out. Then do the same in the other ear. Sounds crazy but 99% of the time it worked.

What you may be experiencing is not water in your ears, but rather fluids that your body uses to compensate for what it feels is unequalized pressure within the ear canal, if you were snorkeling or diving, but not equalizing the pressure, that happens...sometimes it takes a few days to go away, but it usually decreases and then goes away.I'm afraid no amount of holding your nose shut & blowing will help after the fact, in fact, that could do real damage to your ears... seek medical attention if it last more than a few days, or if there is pain or discharge...

Lean your head to the side that has the water in the ear. Jump up and down on your toes, never let your feet leave the ground, and that should do it..

Don't try to as it usually doesn't work. Water will find it's own way out. If you are particularly sensitive to the water getting near your eardrums, get ear blockers.

I used Swim Ear for years after drying my ears with a towel. You can find it everywhere.

If shaking doesn't work, there is a product they sell at the pharmacy which contains isopropyl alcohol that dries them out.
