Do you think parents know if if their child is ugly?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I don't think parents will ever admit, or say to anyone that their child is unattractive, even if they think it in their minds.

Any parents that consider their child ugly should not be parents at all. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. You never see an underwear model to be a rocket scientist or the next Einstein.
Parents who thinks that their child is ugly are not very good parents and should not be consider a role model.
Good parents are those who love their child unconditionally without any hesitation whatsoever.

Parent know if their child is not the prettest/handsome. But true love will blind their eyes for any birth defect. Saw a documentary about a child born with birth defect. Yes, very badly defected facial. But her mom just keep telling her that she is beautiful. This really touches my heart.

However, there are parents who just don't love their child at all, regardless whether the child is ugly or not. Yes, child abuse happen so often because of unworthy parents.

Anyway, I am a mom and I will you, my son is the most handsome baby... whether you agree or not, he is the HANDSOME, CUTE, LOVELY one! ^_^

I really REALLY doubt it, most parents are really self centered, their small circle is the center of the world , you go to a restaurant and ugly kids are running around hitting you every time they pass , you look at the parents and they expect you to put up with it, their kids are perfection, you HAVE to put up with it, if you say anything they go all "don't tell me how to raise my child" on you.

I don't doubt there are good parents out there and I don't doubt there are well behaved kids I just haven't met any.

well i would think that a parent would never think their child is ugly since it was their creation, however, its true that i've seen some parents who think their child is ugly. i mean they can deny it, but you have to admit that you'd see some parents hate their kids or treat them differently because their kid wasn't born attractive. some parents would even tell a child "your ugly" or "your fat". its mean, but its true, i think parents would know if their child is ugly

Some parents love and respect their kids and judge them highly while other parents hate their kids and judge them poorly.

Not every child is beautiful to their parents. My mother was offended by my presence. She hated me.

and even if they are physically ugly.....they are internally beautiful.

Then they hide it.

I know a rather attractive couple (well he is she's just okay.) with really REALLY ugly kids... and you hardly ever see them. It's almost like they don't have kids... I think they hide them?

i think parents know when their kid's ugly but i think their kid is pericious their sight anyways cuz i mean the kid wuz made by them and wuz part of them.
