Tendons link muscle to bone. Just tested on this in Bio 1020 today!

Tendons are not bone-like at all.

They are bands of collagen fibers that connect muscles to bones.

There are two answers to your question. Tendons are connected to muscle tissue. They are also connected to bone tissue on the periosteum.

tendons are tough bone like things that attach the muscles to the bones. it is a type of bone but not that strong because they do not have two attachments.
