I have a windows vista and an XP..i want to link the two and everything for both computers is pretty much the same: the control panel, the settings, ect. How can i link the two? I need instructions.

You'll need a network card fitted into each computer if you only want a simple network go down to you local computer store and ask for a crossover cable connect the two by plugging into the network cards then open the control paned on you main computer and run the network wizard follow the on screen instructions when done you'll have to share folders to do this right click on the folders you want to share click properties then the sharing tab tick the box marked share this folder on a network that's basically it
