In The Beginning: it died on me while i was driving. i was able to start it again but it was idling low. i gave it some gas but it didnt even rev the engine with the gas pedal hitting the floor. I took the alternator & the battery to be checked by 2 different Kragen stores and they both said that the battery & alternator were good. btw, this whole time all lights/cd player/power everything worked. it just didnt start.

Now: A month of not touching the car at all I decide to start it and it WORKS. At first it was running not so smooth and idling at 500 then (i guess to warm up)it started idling at 800-900. 2 laps around my block + 10mins of just running in my driveway between laps, it still runs/starts.

if theres anymore info needed ask away. i need an answer soon.

Nope, if it works don't fix it, it's just old car syndrome and these little bugs that like to act up like that in a 23 year old car, so I would drive it nice and easy and it will probably last a long time.

I would, just from what you said, replace the clutch cable, that might have something to do with it.
Beyond that, I mean, have you changed the oil and filter lately, the air filter, the fuel filter, the spark plugs, maybe the wires and cap and rotor, but there's not but so much you can do.

sounds like a carboureter or fuel line thats dirty or even dirt in the tank. also it could be a crack in the distributor cap or your timing has sliped a knotch, not a serious problem i would think. but needs some one in the know. best of luck brian.
