1 eV/c² = 1.783×10^−36 kg

So 493 MeV/c^2 = 8.79 x 10^-28 kg

1 amu ≈ 1.66053886 × 10−27 kg

so the mass is about 0.529 amu

Alternately 1 amu ≈ 931.49 MeV/c2 so 493/931.49 = 0.529 amu
