ww2 questions. really need help please?

Question

1) When was Britain declared war by Germany in WW II?
2) When did Germany first attack Britain and for what reason? (Preferably name the exact date.)
3) When did Britain declare war on Germany?
4) When did Germany bomb britain and for what reason?
5) How did the bombing effect the morale of the civilians, the health of the civilians, and their buisinesses?

Answer 1

1) September 3, 1939.
2) Between September 7, 1940, and May 16, 1941. This was called the Blitz.
3) August 4, 1914. - I'll explain this in just a moment.
4) November 14, 1940. Coventry was bombed. The city was targeted due to its high concentration of armaments, munitions and engine plants which contributed greatly to the British war effort.
5) Britain acted with pride. Following the WW2 bombing in Coventry, they built a new Cathedral. The old one was bombed. Coventry suffered more damage than any other British city during the Nazi attacks, with giant fire storms devastating most of the city center.

It's funny, really. I am learning the same thing in school right now. It is very interesting... I guess all of the WWII video games I played really payed off, plus I research WWII as a hobby.

For question 3 - Remember, after the Treaty of Versailles, France blamed Germany for WWI because they hated each other so incredibly much. After WWI, Germany decided to war with France. Britain joined the fight because they were allies with France - the Triple Entente.
