I had a hysterectomy 5 years ago but they left the left ovary...why am I still having lots of pain?

They left my left ovary because they said I wouldn't have to take hormone medicine that way but prescribed Premerin anyway. I am having just as much pain out of that side as I did before they took the rest out. Do I need the rest out?

i had a hysterectomy 15 yrs ago,i went just this april and have to have the ovary that was left removed.mine was due to cysts.and yes it is very painful.you need to talk to your gyno, a.s.a.p.

Go talk to your doctor about it. There could be something else going on.
