I've always been interested in extinct animals, not dinosaurs but those scary mean looking animals that lived millions of years ago, does anyone know any sites, movies that could entertain me for awhile?
And does anyone know the name of that thingy they say the loch ness monster was related to?
Sorry but im a dummy who's really interested in these sort of things

Any help would be appreciated :)

It's often said that the Loch Ness Monster is a type of plesiosaur.

Nessy is shaped most like a plesiosaurus. Some of the most interesting events are the mass extinctions. These are periods when a huge percent of the Earth's species disappeared. Google "mass extinctions".

It could be a plesiosaur. Plesiosaurs are maritime reptiles related to dinosaurs, though not coterminous with them, Most of them had a long neck, a small head, and flippers reminiscent of those of seal.

Well, the fleshy thing was a pleisiosaur, which is often considered a dinosaur (though it wasn't).

I would suggest going to http://en.wikipedia.org and searching for "cretaceous," "extinct mammals" or something like that.
