quick question.. there was this one guy in auditions, he was a big black guy whom Simon called "Reuben with a personality".. he sang that oldies song "Cupid".... and he was really really really good!! what happened to him, he didnt' even make the top 20?

He got eliminated during Hollywood week at the end. You know the part when they take the elevator up to the judging room.

Being really really good is not good enough to make it to the end. The closer to the end the more critical the judging gets. Someone has to lose. Everyone cant make it to the end.

I watch it... but I don't like it as well as I liked the previous seasons.
