I recenly got a old 84 leather wrapped jauguar steering wheel , that is dar blue in color but it has large spots that are like a tanish white , w/ some timy cracks due to age , what home remedy would restore this , i was thinking mink oil

Neetsfoot oil -like an old baseball mitt rub it in let it soak in for 2 days and then dark blue liquid shoe polish to cover the tannish spots- let dry and then a layer of paste neutral shoe polish let dry for two days and buff with a soft brush.

try the armor all leather care wipes, if that does not work try a different method. The leather wipes worked on seats i did once with the same problem.

You might try re-dyeing the wheel blue
