its called lonely time first of all and what i do is when there's noone at my house i go to the backyard at about 5 or 5:30 in the afternoon when the sun is going down and it is very relaxin like if you need some time to think about your life or relfect about something that's a great time to do it. look at the nature, trees, birds etc. that helps a lot. don't even think about getting stock on a room that will depress you

In a home with two small kids the bathroom is the best when I need some time alone. Aside from that the park or even the nail salon (while ignoring the other people) works well too.

Cemetery/graveyards. Especially if you can find a real old one from like the 1800s out in the country or in some tiny town somewhere.
Years ago i would spend alot of time cruising around when i wanted to be alone, take a day long road trip by myself. Just hitting all sorts of small towns and exploring very old graveyards. Well, there were others around-but they didnt have much to say if you know what i mean!

When I need alone time I go for a long walk or drive. Normaly though the walk is better because you dont have to payattention to the road and on comming trafic.

in the middle of a busy shopping center, everyone is so involved in themselves that they leave you alone and you get to watch them stressing around which helps you relax even more coz it's not you running round doing the chicken dance
