NEVER...my wildest dreams are what lets me know that my basic instincts and needs are still alive...They are what makes me wake up and say EEEEE...I AM READY FOR THE DAY. If you are talking about daytime wide awake wildest dreams...nope not scared of them either....always told my husband...don't care where you get the appetite from AS LONG AS YOU COME HOME FOR THE DINNER. Saw on an earlier question you are a Leonard Cohen fan...HECK YEAH.. I love his music...He is such a recluse but his music is AWESOME......I absolutely love his song "The Future."

Oh! I know that pain. In the times I've got it in mind I try to remember that the smaller our desires the happier we are. But it doesn't work. Because the next thing in my mind: When you REALLY want something, the whole Universe will work for you (that from Paulo Coelho). The thing is that these "wildest dreams" are usually that strong and "wild" that unconsciously we know that getting there could be damaging for us. But the temptations are much greater. That is scary!
