-2y = 14 - 6x
2y = -14 + 6x
2y = 6x - 14

Wow that is so easy! The y intercept is obviously -7 because you make x zero which leaves -2y=14; solve for y. To find the slope you isolate y which is then y=3x-7 so slope is 3!

So if you have an equation in the form AX + BY = C The Slope is equal to the opposite of A divided by B. THe y intercept is C divided by B. So in this problem the slope would be 3 and the Y intercept would be -7

you need to positioned it into slope intercept sort, via fixing fot y so it may be 6x-2y=14 -2y=-6x+14 y=3x-7 slope intercept sort is y=mx + b m is slope and b is y intercept, so 3 is your slope and -7 is your y intercept
