Go to the Dollar Store or a good hardware store. Get some "shoe goop." or some kind of glue meant for shoes. No, not Elmers. No, not Crazy Glue. The kind for repairing shoes soles.
Do it.
The money you save instead of buying the new ones right away, you put in your college fund and go to Harvard, Stanford, Princeton, Johns Hopkins, any of the Seven Sisters, or a good college. Then some day we'll see who laughs at whom.
Of course, you are probably too nice to laugh at people. Right?

what i heard was to put a bill in between the base and insole. if there are $1 bills where you live, its sparable. but if not i guess $5 isn't that bad...its a way to keep your money safe too though
it happens to my shoes too with orthotics in them so thats my cause, but theres still insoles in other shoes.

that is cuz u r twisting your foot when u walk.
u may not be twissitng them much but u r. try walking very slowly. only on your toes. or walk heel toe and heel toe.
