Look paddies, tommies, Herewith we the germans forgive the RAF bomb and murder terrorists because the time heals the wounds. And now 20 years later we have now a total different time. When they will come out of the prisons they will wonder. Almost everthing has changed.
What do you think Paddies (Irish)?

Why do you want to drag up the past.... there is a healing process going on here and remarks like that can only harm. Idiot!

Please read the history of the Emerald Island and you will see it has a history dating far beyond the IRA & Protestants. In fact did you know that in about 400AD the Irish invaded Briton before the English settled here.

And what good did that useless bid of information serve none just as you question served no usefull purpose.

Yes.
Should the Irish forgive the British for having treated them as worse than animals for centuries? and for the "ethnic cleansing" during the 18th and 19th centuries?
Well, for their own good, their own inner freedom, yes.
Forgiveness is never deserved by the person forgiven. Forgiveness is for the freedom of the forgiver.

Absolutely! Both sides must forgive each other. Japan and the USA are best friends, now, but imagine if we'd never forgiven each other for the casualties in WWII?

I suggest you read up on Irish history! The root of the problem goes back to the british invaders who "became Irish" and wanted what they stole from the Irish for themslves, rather than running it for the brit government

Why are you asking this? What's your motive? Why are you stirring the pot? Do you want to see more blood? Haven't you seen enough? Do you want your children & their children to kill each other?

You can write. Can you read? So read your bloody history! There are no right answers here.

I must be missing something here........we are all a little bit past this now, just a little bit.....we are into bridge building now. So if you are black ,with red hair, wearing a sari, and a Jewish star on your lapel you are all welcome here. Didn't you hear? We are a multi cultural society now.

Perhaps it would be a good idea to consider in the future, but not right now.

After we would be saying sorry to Terrorists, and republican terrorists at that .
