I dunno. I played one when I was younger, before I knew any better, and nothing weird happened to me. Although a few years later in Sunday school, my teacher told us all about how we should never even touch Ouiji boards. I don't know if she believed in them or not, but she told us this story (I swear this is exactly what she said):
Her (my teacher's) sister had this one friend whose mother believed in witchcraft and was always trying to contact the spirits (or somethin rather). So one day her sister went over to her friends house. After a while of being there, they went into the kitchen and everything started crashing, like all these pots and pans were flying around. The friend apparantly had had this happen before and knew what to say to get it to stop. "For the love of God, Stop!" and everything fell to the ground. Her sister went ran home crying and her mother never let her go back there again. My teacher said that the story was still very hard for her sister to tell, that she had been traumetized.
I have never known this particular teacher to lie about anything. At the time, I remember I fully believed every word she was saying. I did not doubt it one bit. Today I am a bit sceptical, but I have never ever touched one of those boards again.

It's a mass produced board game made by parker brothers. They are churned out at the same factory as monopoly. IT's not the secret door to the spirit world. It's a game that idiot's and children play in thier basements with the lights out.

I think they work to some extent, but are quite uneffective and even dangerous sometimes. It is quite foolish to play with them. Much better to study the paranormal seriously, playing with it is dangerous. So I would not use them.

i don't mess with them but i have personally know peeps that have and some messed up stuff has happened to them, my aunt went crazy back in the sixties after playing with one and has never been right since. she is in her late 40's. i had a girl friend that killed herself, and another friend lost her kids after messing with one. the clincher is that it all happened the next day to each of them.

I personally do not think that you can communicate with the dead through them, but man, are they beautiful!!! Like the all oak ones!
