Once a year my high school holds a talent show called the "snow show" in late february. Since I'm already very flexible, I thought about maybe doing a dance/contortion act next year. But I know people have mixed opinions about contortion. Do you think it would be......disturbing? Even if I wore loose clothes that cover my entire body? What do you think? Would contortion just be too weird?

I think it would be great. I saw a contortion show at my university (performed by students) and the audience seemed to like it. It was in a large square outdoors, there was 4 little stages at the corners and each had its own show. People (the audience) could walk from one corner to the other whenever they wanted to. The corner with contortionists got a lot of audience while they were performing. They didn't wear loose clothing though. They wore thicker tights and leotards than what you'd see in a circus, but it was fitted clothing. I think they wore knitted full length legwarmers. The only difference that I see with high school is people tend to know you personally while in university people don't know each other. Any talent you pick - some people might have "mixed opinion" about it. Go for it.

It would be really cool if you did a contortionist moves inside a normal dance. people would be impressed. id know it would turn out well because after each cool move you made, they would clap which would cheer you up! no, if you use it the right way (like in a dance) people would love it and be really impressed, not weirded out.
(I'd love it if you went to my school)

I guess it depends on how good you are and how delicate you are with the coreography. If you start working on it now and show someone what you've come up with in a couple of months, you can get opinions on how it looks.

i dont think it would be weird, people will be impressed- just get a good song to dance to and people will enjoy it

I think it's a great idea!!! People may think it's a little wierd at first, but they'll really get into it! At the end they'll be like, "WOW!!! How does she do that???" Go for it!!!!
