Do you think that global warming is really happening? Or is David Suzuki just lying about it with his rants? I think it's all a bunch of crap myself. Take the conference in Paris that he attended...did you know it was by invitation only and that to be invited you had to agree with the idea of global warming? Interesting. David Suzuki's degree is in genetics, so what in hell qualifies him to lie to us about climate? I am really starting to question the motives of this far-left wing 'scientist'.

I think it's a real shame that The Weather Network here in Canada have lowered their standards to the point where they give him air time. I'm getting really tired of his b.s., and I'm not happy when his face appears on my television. Does the fact that he's relatively well known make him more easy to believe? Or are Canadians in general turning more to the left which makes them very gullible?

Anyhow, those are my thoughts. Curious about yours.

As a scientist, Suzuki knows what scientific consensus means. It's not particularly about politics. Why do you suppose the Green Party leader said Brian Mulroney did more for the environment than any other prime minister? She was telling the truth. So's Suzuki.

It doesn't matter whether Suzuki's a geneticist or an astronomer. Please take few minutes to read what a peer-reviewed academic journal is. Virtually every bit of global warming research in academic journals proves that human actions are the main cause of global warming.

Some facts to ponder. Exxon funds 124 organizations whose only goal is to question the work of global warming scientists. Why? Exxon sells a billion bucks of oil a day. Basically, the oil companies are doing exactly what the tobacco companies did, trying to hide the truth.

Something else, which shows where Canadian politics really gets involved. Factoring in all industry, the average person in Alberta and Saskatchewan produces three times as much pollution, per capita, as people who live in other provinces. Why? Tar sands. The question is, will Stephen Harper act on behalf of all Canadians, as Mulroney did? Or will he support just the oil barons on his home turf?

Humans do not control the temperature of the earth like the sun does. History shows warming and cooling trends that are natural. Making it the fault of the people just gives the power structure more fear to motivate agendas with. Sure, we should not pollute. But I've never made a single decision on environmental policy. I use the products you sold me. Now it's my fault??! Obama is in the white house for good. He will not have to face repercussions.

Of course there is global warming, I knew this 30 years ago, I lived most of my younger life in Colorado and we visited the Arapaho glacier often, then I moved away for 20 years and returned one time to show some of my family the glacier,, jumped out of the car and hiked over to see.....nothing. it was completely gone.. I couldn't believe it...but I new the years were getting warmer all the time...this isn't my only proof...but sure did a convincing thing for me...

Jack Hanna was on MSNBC today talking about this subject.
There are enough people concerned about global warming
for me to take it seriously.
I've also seen photos of the polar ice caps 10 years ago & today - there is definetly something going on that needs
our attention.
