I need some help with this guy Eratosthenes... I need to get a good thourough biography of him, or atleast his main backstory, with a couple dates, his *family tree*, etc... I know he was a mathemetician and was the first to accurately estimate the diameter of the Earth but beyond that I can't find much...

You're right, there isn't much personal stuff about Eratosthenes --- in the Internet anyway. So,have you tried the "old-fashioned" way, i.e., going to the library and all that fun stuff?

i would try wikipedia.org. once you get the info you want from there, you can search for it on a search engine to verify it.
