The child-like innocent approach is like watching a straightman/funnyman in one person. The comedy itself makes you uncomfortable, and with Borat, you either love him or hate him, there is no middle ground with this character.

The *commercials* seem funny....I haven't seen the movie yet, but want to soon.
I think it will be fairly funny, but that type of shock humor can get old after a while.
I personally like slapstick, political, and "shock-value" stupid humor, although in smaller amounts. Those who find it ridiculous will probably NOT find Borat funny.

Oh, I have not seen this movie because the sneak previews look dumb...oddly funny, but dumb.
I;ve caught the Borat guy on late night television and he is somewhat interesting, but not a gut-busting comedian like, say Robin Williams or Chris Rock.

Borat (in my opinion) is very offensive. My parents are from poland and i 2 used to think the movie was funny then i began to think. How would u like it if someone made a whole movie on americans in europe for example. they would look soo stupid and all of the europeans would laugh at america. In my opininon the movie suked anyway....

Hell yeah he is funny, but I think everytime he goes on a talk show or whatever he tells the same jokes, so I guess he could use some new ones. I hope he and his fat black hooker are happy these days!

HAHA YES!! I THINK HES HILARIOUS! I CANT WAIT TO RENT THE MOVIE! I'VE ALREADY SEEN IT IN STORES BUT ITS SO FUNNY I WANT TO SEE IT AGAIN. ITS JUST FUNNY THE THINGS THAT HE SAYS TO PEOPLE. ITS A JOKE BUT SOME OF IT IS PRETTY SERIOUS. YOU JUST HAVE TO HAVE A BIG SENSE OF HUMOR.

I did NOT think it was funny. It had stupid jokes and it was discriminating. I did not like how he was so happy that his "sister" was the best prostitute in the country and he makes out with her. It was stupid!
