Has any one felt bored out of their mind right before labor?? I am 38 weeks pregnant and so bored. I have done all the cleaning today and went to store, but for the past few hours or more I have been so bored. I dont know what to do and really I dont want to do anything cause I have that lazy feeling too, and if I think about doing something it just sounds boring. Really the only thing that sounds good is having this baby NOW. I didnt know if anyone else ever felt like this and if it was a possible sign of maybe labor.

that's so cute you want you're boredom to be a sign of labor but i am afraid its not i am a mother of six and physical signs are the best way to know baby's on its way like contractions that are coming consistently 3-5 min apart and increase in strength . or a leaking from your bag of waters i never had the big gush they always show on TV i just leaked a Little at a time .you may actually get a burst of energy the day before that called nesting and i always did .
but mostly if your just bored and you are dying to be near your baby talk to him or her play some songs that you like and take it easy now while you can .
cuz soon enough you will have that precious little baby in your arms and everyday you will wake to that sweet little face its so great i wouldnt trade it for anything in the world .
your almost there hun hang in there !!

Oh my...I feel the same exact way and I'm only 2months pregnant....and to top it off, I already have an infant son so it's not like I dont have anything to do, I'm constantly busy with the house chores, cooking, errands, my son and appointments and I still feel bored, but a bit lazy and at the same time uninterested but hopeful that something more exciting would come up in my life.

lol, I'm bored too... but I'm only 35 weeks along. Have you tried picking up a easy to do hobby like knitting or cross stitching maybe reading a series novel like harry potter or Lord of the rings?? good luck with your new baby!!!

ahhh yes the last weeks of pregnancy.... to keep your mind occupied start working on baby stuff, memory books, decorating, baby shopping, or even better.... a spa day for mommies to be! there great! a little expensive but sooooooooo worth it!!!
and yes it is normal to be extremely Bored at this stage. its called the "get this kid outta me already" syndrome!
