For a start our health and transport systems would fall apart. Service industries would collapse, and some of our indiginous unemployed might have to lower themselves and get their hands dirty in a job.

Recently I was working on a treatment unit when one of my colleugues was asked by a patient why all radiographers were Austrailian! Funny thngs was, the four of us working there came from New Zealand, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Ireland.

About 50% of our staff are non-British born and about 30% are the British-born children of immigrants. Only about one in 5 is a White British person.

(A lot of my English friends have worked in many other countries, - the US, Canada, NZ, OZ, Cyprus, etc sop benefits work both ways.)

Well if you read the Express or the Daily Mail, then it would obviously be wonderful.

However if you had a car crash you would be in trouble as there wouldn't be any doctors or nurses to care for you.

School league tables would be all over the place as there wouldn't be any hardworking Asian kids getting good grades.

No takeaways, so whitey might starve.

No Aussie bar staff in London, might have to pull your own pint.

No BBC World Service, they employ loads of "Non British" people.

But the worst thing of all, the "real British" people would have to get their hands dirty and do some work.

Every time I read a question like this I get very upset, and then I read some of the answers and get even more disgusted. I'm just pleased I no longer live in Britain if you guys are an example of who I would have to live with.

That would really be tragic, for the Britain. It would become much less interesting without the all colourful varied culture, a great loss of manpower especially in the area where the Brits themselves disdain to take up, not to say loss of business. commerce these immigrants generate. It would become a closed up community & country . Why even bother to have an airport?

A very racist question indeed.A very unfortunate from a person from a country calling itself progressive or global and going out to police the world. All immigrants that enter Britain has to undergo quality testing which make them better than average peer Britons.
If they return back it will be very fortunate for their home countries to get their productive manpower back.

the economy of britain will be adversely affected. it would become difficult to get people to work for menial jobs. the retail restaurant business and other retail business would be badly hit. the prices of basic services would go sky high. there will be shortage of skilled and semi skilled workers, besides certain high tech business would also be adversely hit
