I find the difference striking. I am guessing you are too busy. Any other reasons? Seems childish? Please.

yeah, i agree with most of the other posters, i think its alot of kids getting homework answers that dont bother. Us dolers out of information tend to circle these places like sharks (humor intended here), looking for a question that isn't completely silly or overused ("why is the sky blue" is my favorite), and tend to put more thought into ours i think...But anyway, at the very least i dont think the point of this place is to do peoples homework for them...

Some find Avators childish...or a waste of time. Especially for busy people (often students and even profs) who just want to answer and move on. This may apply here to a larger percentage of posters in this category. Age (if the average age of posters here is older) may also play a role.

Well, as an engineer, I will say that we don't have any artistic senses at all. Birth defect or something. A straight line or an angle or maybe a polygon is the limit of our artistic minds. So, for mine, I took an actual photograph from my collection.

I'm guessing most people are there to get answers to homeworks or just to help other people, so don't get to involved with the extras.
