People need to get off Peyton's nuts! This dude gets no love even after he won the MVP and Super Bowl MVP. Just b/c he gets his team to the playoffs every year before this year and dont get to the super bowl, people wanna knock him. If he was bad, he wouldnt be in the league!!!!!!! People didnt knock John Elway not as near hard as they do Peyton!! Get off this future hall of famer's dick!!!

Many people hate Peyton Manning because he is a clean cut decent white male. The NFL is smart marketing him as they are. I am a Raiders fan, but I truly believe when it is all said and done that Peyton Manning will be in the NFL hall of fame long before that playboy from New England... what his name??? oh yeah Tommy Brady. Brady had the benefit of the system and a great defense. You notice he couldn't win this year when other teams had good defenses. Brady may have 3 rings but what has he done lately? The Colts are a very high class organization. The Patriots are a bunch of spoiled little boys led by Bill Belichek. The only way Tom Brady gets into The Pro Football Hall of Fame is to buy a ticket.

Well let's see, most don't as much hate him as are sick of him. For one thing he is FORCED DOWN OUR THROATS by the NFL. They are CONSTANTLY showing his retarded commericials. He is given far more credit then he deserves. The team isn't out there winning in shootouts, like the old Rams with Warner, so this isn't a offense only team. The Defense never gets credit though, but DOES have all the blame forced on it. Team losses 21-18 and it is oh well if the D had stepped up. Well of course because Golden Boy Manning can do no wrong. Gag me. On top of that he is a freakin robot not a person. Blame that on his father. His father trained him to be a QB from a young age and made him grow up to be a QB so now he is mechanical rather then having a personality. It's hard to like someone who has NO personality. Every once in awhile it will show through but very rarely. So put it as he is on ALL the time, has no personality, and gets too much credit and no blame as a summary of why.

I don't hate him, but the league and media put him on this "Wonder Boy" status and I don''t know why. Everyone is suppose to feel sorry for him because he breaks all these records, but hadn't gone to the Super Bowl yet. Just like any other QB, it has to be earned.

In post season he sucks! He throws little or not touch downs to the point his running backs have to carry the team, but he still gets the credit.

Don't get me started on Brett Farve! He is a good QB, but was never great, yet history will write him as such.

Peyton isn't overrated, he's overexposed. And the fact that he finally won the Super Bowl means that he will get even more commercials next year, and the backlash will continue. To those who bring up the New England quarterback, he is AVERAGE!! The Colts have always been hindered by a poor to atrocious defense, and that's what screwed them up so much in the post-season. So, I don't hate Peyton Manning (Eli is another story), but the media attention and the innumerable commercials he's in, edge him past the annoying line.

Dude Peyton is the best QB. have you seen his numbers? people who think that he sucks are crazy. Tom Brady is not even close to being the best. Just cause he has 3 rings doesn't mean anything. Peyton has done good ever since his rookie year even when he didn't have a good team. I don't see tom doing that good when he didn't have a good team. Peyton is the best just below Brett though.

People, especially boys, like to hate people for being good at something. It's the most annoying thing about sports IMO. As a girl who has liked sports forever, I've never understood why they act like that. It's my pet peeve in being around boys when they are talking about sports or watching a game. It's just stupid and immature. Jealousy maybe?

Anybody that is willing to use their brain can look at the stats and see that Peyton Manning is the best current quarterback , or at least one of the best. His stats are on pace to break all of Marino's records if he continues to play for enough years. And Peyton has a ring, but Dan doesn't.

Payton Manning can be classified as ONE OF THE BEST quarterbacks. (in madden 07 he has an overall of 99/99)
People just think hey he can win the big one, well he can and he did so stop crying and give the man the trophy he deserves it, so what is his comercials are dumb, he is just a guy like all of us and he wants money, anyone here would do a crappy comercial for thousands of dollars i can garuntee that. anyway Payton will go down in the Hall of Fame for sure, GO PAYTON SHUT UP HATERS

I personally am a Patriots fan, so obviously I would dislike Peyton Manning. He is very overrated in football games, and his inconsistency during games, not seasons, can lead to his downfall. Unlike Tom Brady, when Manning sees the defence rushing at him, he starts getting nervous and gets what I like to call, 'happy feet.' Tom Brady remains calm during each play, while Manning panics deciding who to pass the ball to.

That is exactly why people hate Peyton Manning because of people like you. Who are you to say Peyton Manning is the best QB in the league. Have you even thought about Tom Brady and his 3 rings with another coming up or even Brady's playoff record of 12-3. Or his great consistant play over the years or his great 4th Qtr. combacks. Forget Peyton Manning, he is overrated and that was his last Super Bowl. Now with Brady getting some weapons at that WR postion like Wes Welker and potential, Stallworth and Randy Moss, the Pats and Brady will be very very dominant next year.
