Is it more common for the guy not to be putting out or the girl??

Two or three times, if you both have jobs, you might actually be tired sometimes. do not worry about it!!!

Thank you Angela S for being honest and truthful!! My husband and I are the parents of two kids, my husband works full time AND has gone back to school to get his masters degree and I stay at home with the kids (EVERY bit as hard as what my husband does, maybe harder). Our newborn is only 5 weeks old and still sleeping in our room. If we aren't so exhausted that we can make the time for each other once a week, we're doing GREAT. And that DOES NOT make us an unhealthy couple.
I'd say it's more common for the girl to not want sex, at least that's how it is with us. I'm exhausted from a long day of changing diapers, feeding a toddler and a newborn, cleaning the house, trying to potty train, etc. When my husband comes home, his day is over and he can relax. Mine doesn't end until I decide to give up on the chores and go to bed. It's hard to feel sexy after a long day of mothering and housekeeping. When my husband decides to help out around the house and with the kids without my asking, that's usually when he gets some.

That is going to depend on the couple....but i feel that during the mid 20's (which i am a part of) a healthy sex drive is important. maybe im wrong but i work full time and have a child and this only increases my sex drive to let out pent up agression! Thats where i let everything release. But as i said everyone is different. I think if the sex is less than once or twice a week (unless distance and time together or religious reasons etc.) may make me question my attraction for the person i was with and vice versa....20's is too young for that!!! The more comfortable you make your partner feel during sex the more your partner will want it! If you think your man or woman is super hot let them know and youll be suprised what will happen...be vocal! And as much as i hate to admit it i have to say girls are probably more likely to deny their guy...guys are just too easy to arouse!

We usually were "sackin up" about 3-4 times a week. But the past month, it has been about once a week. I have been really stressed out about finding a new job(am currently working 45 hours per week), and really tired.

It is different for everyone and different circumstances come into play depending on the length of time you've been together, whether kids are involved, your daily schedules...etc....
I would have to say it is more common for a woman to hold out than a man. Most men can't resist a naked woman. Women can hold out for a long time. It is more emotional for us! For men it is just about the visual and the moment. If I am pissed off, sex is the farthest thing from my mind...that's just me though!

Well in your mid 20's you guys should be doing it alot i am 31 y husband is 38 w/ 4 kids all together and work and school plus on top of hat we have been 2gether 10 yrs. we have sex 4-5x's a wk.

Ok, well for those of us that live in the real world...I say Once a Week!!!! All this 3-5 times...7 times??? That is completely un-realistic for adults who work and actually have lives. Sorry...but that's just the way it is. Once you are at this age (mid-20's) ESPECIALLY if you have kids, I say you are doing great to be doing it once a week. Just my opinion...although, I'm sure all the MEN out there will completely dis-agree.

Probably 7 times if you're just starting to go out and more like 4 or 5 if you've been living together a while, or going out a few years
Less if you work contrasting shifts and neither of you feel up to it
Probably more common for the girl not to put out

My wife and I are in our 50's... on average we "do it" 2-3 times per week. We also have 2 children that live with us and 2 that visit (they're older and gone). In our 20's, we wold do it 3-5 times per week, and with children around too. It's about how attracted you are to each other, your sex drive, whether you stay in shape or not, etc., etc. When does sex end... I dunno, my my garndpa said "sometime after 84!"
How often do we not want sex... me, probably 2-3X per week and mostly b/c I'm tired. She about the same and for the same reasons. We do make dates to keep this alive.

Boy, if I were still in my twenties, I would be livin-la-vida-loca all day long. We would be like bunny rabbits-humpin' all the time! I think it's more common for the man to want to engage more than the woman, but for me he'd better look out.
