The draft lottery isn't rigged, the draft lottery is a comedian tale. Why do I say this? because of the fact the draft lottery in its present day format encourages communities to tank video games whilst they see they're out of the playoff race. undergo in concepts the season the place each and all the San Antonio Spurs starters/key gamers had "season ending injuries", alongside with David Robinson. How'd that artwork out? They finally end up with Tim Duncan. Cleveland began tanking video games the 2d they observed that interior reach HS sensation LeBron James does no longer be taking part in NCAA basketball. This season, many gamers on those backside feeder communities, including Boston, Memphis, Philadelphia, and Charlotte, have had those phantom injuries including a "sore knee" or "elbow discomfort", with the intention to enhance the type of balls they have interior the lottery. The Sixers gained some video games right here & there to make it no longer seem obtrusive, however the Grizzlies and Celtics made it painfully sparkling they have been tanking, to the excitement of their followers i could upload. a thank you to keep away from this? All 13 communities that don't qualify for the draft get ONE PING PONG BALL! That gets rid of the could tank and forces those communities to be aggressive each night. Thats what could be achieved.

Ah, it's hard not to be bitter about people winning the lottery when it's not YOU...especially when they already have a financially stable life or when they're like 90 or when they won't appreciate it and will just blow it all on crap (you know the saying, "Winning the lottery doesn't make you a BETTER person neccesarily, it just accentuates your personality as it already is", which basically means that if you're a crappy person to begin with, you'll be worse after winning money. And vice versa), etc.
I'd like to see more needy families win it. Like ME! Haha, but really, when you think about how excited people must be to win it...I think that's kinda cool and it makes me smile, especially when a person wins who REALLY needs the money.
The odds are always stacked against us...but then again, "Downside? You lose a dollar. Upside? You could win millions!".
