I am using Windows 2000 and when I play audio or video, they play at slightly increased speeds. Any ideas?

I have most recent driver, and can't think of what else this could be.

Uninstall your sound drivers, and then reinstall them. They can be found in device manager (right click my computer, select manage).

what software are you using to play the songs ? Have you tried another one ?
