There is no hard and fast rule as to who will survive a plane crash. Those in the rear have a statistically better chance since much of the time the tail is severed. This gives those in the rear a better chance since the now gaping hole is a large open escape route. That said, flying is the safest mode of commercial transportation.

this recommendations is thirty+ years previous, and got here to me even as i became dropping 4 years in Aviation vo-tech HS. it may were a instructors shaggy dog tale for all i understand. The most secure position in a plane that is going down is the bathroom contained in the rear of the plane. various structural integrity in that little room. And on impression, you do not have bodies and bags skipping all round you. And in case you soil your self even as the plane hits, the position more suitable positive to do it than contained in the bathing room! again, i'm no longer particular it is a real truth. do not come and sue me in case you die contained in the crapper of a crashed airliner. Oh, forgot one issue. you're meant to take your seat cushion/flotation gadget with you to cushion your noggin contained in the can. and remember to fasten the door.

The black box that is under the seat. Because in most plane crash, the only thing that survived and recoverable is the black box that contains the records of the pilot and the flight program.

It dosnt matter wear you sit, usually no one survives in an commerciel jet...it will take a very big miracle....even if the crash itself doent kill you, the fire from the gas will.
