y=3x+2
y=4x
Start by choosing which would be best to sub. I choose y=4x
so i put the 4x in the y place of the other prob.
4x=3x+2
-3 -3
(subtract 3 from both sides)
1x=2
(divide by 1)
x=2
(then put the 2 in one of the problems for x to find y)
y=3(2) +2
(mult. 3 by 2 and then add the 2)
y=8
so x=2 and y=8

y=2*4=8
