My friend has a disease, and she's white, but the disease makes her skin thin so you can see her veins and her blood, so she looks darker. We have been friends for 5 years, I have never wanted my mom to see my friend, because I know my mom would be judgemental of her. My mom popped over my house and right away when my friend went to answer a phone call, my mom said she looks weird, and when did we become friends and why are her hands like that, etc...My friend also has a cochlear implant from 7 yrs ago and my mom has one now. My mom immediately said her implant was not a cochlear implant. My daughter's bday is coming up and my mom asked me what I wanted her to make. She asked pigs in a blanket or truffles. I said I didn't know and asked my friend's opinion, My mom flipped out and said "I asked you, not her, you talk to me right now not her." I totally saw my friend being crushed. Why was my mom like that, and how do I stand up for my friend? I was totally shocked, what do I tell my mom?

WELL I don't like to be crude, but sounds to me like your mom is a totally real, good for nothing B--CH,she should be ashamed of her self, but I doubt if a cold blooded self indulgent moron like her is capable of a feeling like that,I would tell her,not ask her, tell to get out of my homeand not to dirty my home by coming back, theres no excuse for hurting someone like that,or letting her getting away with it,mom or not.

Quite simply I would tell my mother that if she can't have common courtesy or respect for MY friends, then she is not welcome in my house. And that if she okay with not visiting with me or her grandchildren over her lack of empathy for somebody with a disease, then it's HER fault. Right is right and wrong is wrong. And your mother is DEFINITELY in the wrong. Keep that in mind when it's been 2-3 weeks since you last spoke to her.
