i was wondering what kind of plots or story ideas you could come up with to help me. i have a writers block but have already written one book, but i cannot think of a topic of how to start off a series like gossip girl and mediator and princess diaries... thanks!

Take a chapter out of your own life. Then twist it. Take an ordinary day of your life, fantasize about how that day could go terribly terribly wrong or wonderfully right, or magical or whatever and then write down your visions.
Write about what you know or your story will not ring true. There always has to be a bit of truth in everything that is written or nobody would buy into it.

You could write a story about a girl who wants desperately to go to college, but her mother just sort of laughs at the idea. No money and not likely to be any. Her mother has never been able to save any, but spends it as fast as she can.
On her 16th birthday her mother gives her a cross that had belonged to her grandmother. It's big and looks like bamboo so it's hollow. The girl finds a tiny slip of paper inside that gives her a phone number to call..... you decide from there.

I'm a teen writer as well and I have to say that writer's block SUCKS. Write about a girl falling in love with "Mr. Wonderful" and have them have this great life and everything and then let "Mr. Wonderful" but a dream or a figment of the girl's imagination or something...
