i wanted to get a sports package they said its minimum 3 months but they change package deals so often you cant be sure best thing to do is explain what overall package you want and they will advise you offer you the closest deal they have that's what i did

yes, you can ring them up and add any extra channels you want, they should activate them within a couple of hours. I'm not entirely sure but when you want to cancel them again, you need to let them know a month in advance.
I'm going to do the same thing, I have sky but will add sky sports for the world cup months.

i am not sure about sky but ARY DIGITAL which is a pakistani channel is currently offering 2 month subscription specially for the world cup cricket .which is 100 EURO
