you should take a limit of 15, or 5 at some colleges (if they decide 1 class is 1 credit) credits. that's usually 5 classes at 3 credits a piece but some classes are 4 credits, so you could take 16 or more credits. tell mum SHE needs the education!

There is no universal answer to this question. In most 2 year colleges 12 credits is considered a full load but then you have to look at how they determine how many credits are given per class. Most of the colleges I looked at give credits in relation to how many hours of class you have each week for instance my comp1 class meets 3 days a week for an hour and we are expected to spend another hour in the writing center on top of that to pass the class. So 4 hours a week means 4 credits. Of course then you have to take into consideration the professor as in my psychology class (worth 4 credits) we only spend 3 hours in class because the teacher lets us out an hour early everytime. Many of my friends go to state universities that require 15 credits to be a full-time student. Being at a 2year college right now my school only requires 12 credits to be full-time but there's a limit of how many you can take also, I think it's around the mid-twenties. This can be overriden with agreement of some school board so that you can take even more credits. I have 16 credits and 14 hours of class right now.

i am not 100% sure on the answer for the UK but in Canada three courses is condisdered half time and 5 courses is considered a full time student..hopefully that helps. you could always check in the student info books that the colleges give out. or just go ask a student there..

well..the average units of coursework for a full time student is around 20 and up. If each class is worth 4-5 units, then you're looking at 4-5 subjects

In the U.S.A., a normal semester course load is between 15 and 18 credits. This gives you about 22 (15 course hours times 1.5 hours per class) hours in class and, in theory, if you do all your homework, at least another 22 to 44 hours at home.

I can only special with experience in double and triple majoring in the US.

You can take however many classes in whatever subjects you want.

The most I've ever heard of a person taking is 3 majors though. Anything beyond that and you're not going to get the point of going to college.

well i dont know if its the same college requirements in beautiful ENGLAND=] as it is here in the U.S here in california you need to have A-G requirements to go to a 4 year college. That means 4 years of english im thinking 3 years of math but 4 is recommended. 2 or 3 years of science.2 years of foreighn language. and i think thats it and its also great if you join sports or clubs or if you choose advanced classes, it looks good on your transcript. I hope i helped.

In the US, 12 hours is considered a full load, but I don't know about the UK. I would guess it to be similar.
