looking to buy my first boat , just dont want any problems down the road,

go to your local boat shop they will have all the parts youll need. ive also found napa can order some boat parts for much cheaper.

are you kidding ? - look on ebay - there are parts galore ..forget the "tracker" - what you have is a mercury/mariner 40 hp . Tracker makes boats 7 they put the tracker trademark/trade dress on the mercury engines ..

OEM and after-market are easily found without resorting to buying "junk" off e-bay.
