Actually, baby lotion contains mineral oil, the molecular structure of which is too large to penetrate the pores of your skin, sitting on the top layer like saran wrap. Products that contain mineral just get wiped off over time and only give a temporary feeling of softness. These products give little to no benefit long term. Also, many contain fragrance which is an ingredient that's been proven to irritate and dry sensitive skin. You need a great water based lotion that will penetrate the dermis and deeply condition and hydrate your skin. You might want to try Arbonne. Their products are formulated in Switzerland and botanically based, pure, safe, and beneficial for all skin types. They have a great day creme and intelligence moisturizer that you might find beneficial. If your open to trying a fee sample, I'll be happy to send you one

i do no longer use it till my toddler desires it. counting on the age of the youngster, you somewhat should not be bathing her or him daily. Newborns could be bathed some situations a week. Up till they're a 365 days or so previous, they do no longer likely get that grimy, so they do no longer pick on an well-known basis bathing (that's one explanation for dry skin). the only time i've got used lotion on my little ones is interior the iciness as quickly as we've been outdoors and it particularly is chilly. Their skin (cheeks) can each so often get a splash windburned and dry from the chilly air. additionally, my older son had toddler eczema for a quick time, so we used eucarin on him some situations an afternoon, yet in basic terms on the dry patches. in case you do use toddler lotion (some people use it daily) my pediatrician recommends Lubriderm comfortable (dye loose, physique spray loose). additionally, once you bathe your toddler, use Dove loose and snug (white field with a easy green label) That has moisturizers in it, and facilitates shop their skin soft, assuaging the pick for lotion.

I think generaly it depends on the skin type, but yes if your skin is dry, sensetive, and breaks out easily then baby lotion is good for it because its so gentle. I'd try it if I were you...think of it this way: if its gentle enough to use on a baby then its definatley gentle enough for sensetive skin.

Yup ! it provides enough moisturiser. If u have oily skin then use a small quantity of it. It's good b'coz it has no harsh chemicals in it that could harm a baby skin.
I used J&J skin lotion

I wouldnt necessarily use the baby lotion in the pink bottle. Aveeno Baby has a great smoothing body cream for babies that I bought for my daughter and I have been using it. It didnt make me break out.
