Great question- it has happened to me before. It could be because of your study skills. First of all, do NOT wait until the last night to study for the exam because not everything will fit in your short-term memory. Second, try different ways of studying- make flash cards, make up practice questions, and also take out a blank piece of paper and write down everything you know about that subject and then go back to your notes and look at what you need to study. When it comes time to take the exam, cover all the answers and write what you know about the subject of the question next to it. Then match up your answer to the answers. If this does not work, use the process of elimination.

Good luck with your classes
