My primary school kids have a music concert coming up & it is always a rendition of how far the kids have got in their learning to play the violin, piano etc book - really awful. My kids can sing & play the guitar a bit & I was hoping for some suggestions of easy, fun pop songs that they could do to liven the concert up a bit.

Agreed with whoever said you need a simple song with 3 chords.
Breakfast At Tiffany's is very easy - just uses D A and G.
Any Oasis song (Wonderwall, Don't Look Back In Anger, etc).

Go down to a store such as Early Learning Centre or such like, and buy a really really cheap cd full with pop songs that I believe would fit into this criteria easily.
They usually have a good range so worth a good look for sure :)

What would the audience enjoy? I was thinking about some Beatles songs but maybe that's too old for your audience. You want to pick something that they'll recognize and enjoy.

Difficult one. You will have to choose something that is easily recognisable and sing-a-long- able. Yellow Submarine is usually a favourite because it can be played slow and they can all keep up. Good luck!
