The person i am throwing the shower for is having twins and i know that diapers would really come in handy. Is a diaper wishing well a good idea?? Does anyone have any good wishing well ideas??

I dont get the wishing well theme at all. Plus coins are choking hazards and it would take a lot of coins to pay for one pack of diapers.

I'm not sure about the theme, but here's an idea...diapers are always a good idea:

When my friends did my baby shower they had a "diaper raffle". Guest could buy raffle tickets using diapers - 1 ticket cost 1 bag of diapers. There were three prizes. Two little gift packs from Bath and Body Works and a grand prize, a Nordstrom gift certificate.
The diaper raffle was a hit. I was happy because I got a bunch of diapers, the participants had fun at the prize drawing, the winners were also happy with their prizes and those who didn't want to spend the extra $ on diapers still had fun at the party.

Another cute idea was a "diaper cake" that I got from my best friend. I've never seen anything like it. It's a cake shaped out of diapers with ribbons and bows - as icing - and a baby shaped rattle on top. You can use the diapers after if needed... well I didn't because it's just so cute as it is.

I had a themed Precious Moments shower, and we went out to the lake and BBQd hot dogs and hamburgers. I always thought that the games were a little silly, so I didnt want them. But the lake allowed for sight seeing, kept my friends kids occupied while giving me the option to swim if I wanted. I had a blast! And everyone who was there had fun too. I got some little bubble-thingys and attached some little pink ribbons on it and had "its a girl lollipops" for favors, and at almost ANY party store they have a baby shower isle that will most definately have Precious Moments!

Decorate a carriage or a baby bath tub for a wishing well. Have all the guest bring diapers in exchange for a raffle ticket. Then pick a winner and give a prize.

You could use a baby carriage or bassinett as the wishing well so it has two uses. Diapers would be a must for twins. One the invitation you could write that baby diapers for all months are much appreciated.

Books are a nice option. Have the guests write a note to baby(s) on the inside cover.
