What are the limits. Is phonesex cheating? Is meeting for coffee cheating? Is a one night stand cheating? What is the minimum limit?

The limits will vary from person to person, couple to couple, just as what's permissible isn't going to be the same for everyone.

If you're not certain that something is okay, acceptable to your mate, and absolutely *within* the "limits".....don't do it. Generally, if you have to stop and wonder whether it's okay, it's not.

If you want or need clarity on the limits, talk with your partner about what those limits are in your particular relationship; don't ask a bunch of strangers online. In my relationship, it might be considered perfectly okay to engage in phone sex; in someone else's relationship that might be grounds for divorce.

That said, if you're looking for gross generalizations, then based on your specific questions I'll say the majority of individuals in monogomous relationships consider meeting for coffee to be absolutely fine, phone sex to be not fine, and a one night stand to be so obviously not fine that only an idiot would have to ask.

I even have had many acquaintances attempt this and it by no potential worked out for any of them. Sorry! One set replaced into 3 acquaintances a million guy 2 bi women human beings. the guy cheated on them the two. the two females at the instant are not any further acquaintances. This basically lasted 6 mo. One set replaced right into a in the present day married couple. that they were married 12 yrs. They desperate to swing with different swinger couples. They remained married in this "open" dating for 4 yrs. earlier they divorced. The spouse fell in love with yet another lady's husband and now that couple are married and in a closed dating. My opinion on the priority ... it somewhat is purely undeniable incorrect. somebody continuously gets harm whilst have confidence and intimacy are broken.

I believe that cheating is anything that that you be your not comfortable telling your mate about.

Going out for coffee could be considered cheating depending on who you are going out with. Will it stay a secret??

Yes, most definitely a one night stand is cheating. Would you want your mate to have a one night stand with some one??

i consider phone sex a form of cheating also because thats something that you could be doing with your mate. you should be able to call your mate and talk dirty to that person doing it with someone else is just wrong.

Stay faithful.

Phone sex is definitely cheating. Meeting for coffee is not cheating, as long as your partner knows about it. One night stands are cheating. I think the limit is actually hugging. No kissing, sex, or holding hands.

If one is considering or contemplating any of the above mentioned, I would already presume that the person is cheating with their heart. If the heart is not in the relationship, it's time for a serious discussion and some choices to make. Maybe counseling.

Cheating is the emotional and/or physical betrayal of your promise (implied or actually given) to remain faithful in a commited relationship.

Phone sex? Cheating.

Meeting for coffee? If business or friendly, no. If you hope it will lead to more or you are meeting because you think she's hot -- yes.

One night stand? Of course.

Bottom line, if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck -- it's a duck!

It is completely ambiguous. If the sinner thinks it's a sin, it's a sin. They may claim innocence and that they see nothing wrong with their behavior, but only they know the motivation of their heart. The one being cheated on has to use common sense, but some how we all know the truth, don't we?

Cheating is doing ANYTHING affectionate with another person that you could not do in front of your spouse. Example: giving grandma a hug-not cheating, kissing the hot girl at work = CHEATING.

Just talking about another man is enough for me.

Get off the computer and be together for a change. Show your commitment and mean it.

If you already cheated then you don't deserve each other.

good question. i think it's different for everyone. i think individuals set their own boundaries and it is up to them to make sure their partners are aware of what they are. all of the things u listed above are cheating. to ask if a one night stand is cheating is asinine but the overall question IS interesting. the things u listed above would ALL be deal breakers for me. i'd drop a broad immediately if i found her guilty of less. because in my book if a person $hits on u once they'll do it twice. personally i don't particularly care for gettin defecated on. but that's me.
