My Boyfriend is in prison and i cant wait until he comes out, we have known each other since we were kids, the first few months we were writing to each other quite often but now it seems like i write more then him. He says the letters are helping him but i wonder if he is having secon thoughts am i just being paranoid?

You are just a little paranoid. I had an experience like yours. When you are in prison the only thing you are focused on is serving your time and any communication with the outside world is hurtful because you can't experience them yourself. I am sure he loves you but to just think about you and not seeing you is killing him inside. I know this because my boyfriend who was in prison told me this. I felt what you wrote. So just try to relax ok.

Take comfort in knowing that you are helping someone who is in need of it. Being separated is hard for friends, as well as couples. Try not to pressure him in your letters to him about how you feel. Be honest with him, and don't play games with his head or heart. Ultimatums are the worst thing that a person can give to another in this situation, so don't do that either. Like I said, be honest with him, there may be something else going on with him in there that he's not telling you about, so don't get too upset too fast. Women always write and call more than guys do, wherever they are. (Okay, not ALL women!)

HES HAVING DOUBTS?? Pull your head outta your A##. Your Bf is in prison. You shouldnt even be with him. Hes prolly not writing back 'cause he has found a new love (Bubba) while in prison. Why women wait around for some loser in prison is beyond me

maybe what was there before is not there now. maybe you need to reevaluate the situation between you and him and decide if this is what you want out of life. i don't know what your boyfriend is in prison for so i cannot speak for everyone, but how do you know he won't end up in prison again.

Don't worry. As a guy i should know. Perhaps he's just going through a stage where he needs you more thatn enything else. You wouldn't believe it, but sometimes guys need ALOT of attention and love from their girlfriends. Visit him often and always tell him you love him and mean it. Hug him and tell him that he's averything you've always wanted in a guy. Seriously, it makes us feel special and it gets our self-esteem up.

I wonder why?....Its not like he doesnt have time in prison to write. What if he met someone in jail? Ask him why this is?
