I wondered about that too. There was a recent article on the yahoo page about 'creating a soul mate' that I found interesting. There is also a theory that there exists a 'cluster of souls' that return and play a role in our lives...such as best friends, neighbors, relatives, etc. One can never know for sure, but I hope there are other soul mates for me as the one I married is no longer here. good luck

Well I believe that there is more than one person in the world for everyone but the one that you meet and fall in love w/ is your mate. Just like those people who meet and get married and are happy and then one passes away I think that they can find happiness and true love again with someone else.

my wife and i seperated almost 2 years ago...
since then i have moved across the country.. gotten engaged.. and i have a baby on the way..
I think about ashley every day... i miss her.. i dream about her.. i long for her..

she had an affair and thats why i left her... but i always knew she was my soulmate... and despite the fact that i can never be with her again.. i still love her

I don't believe in soul mates. I think that there are so many people in the world, how could just one be perfect for you? The idea even kind of limits you as a person.

Nope, it's a fabrication. We're just people.

If you can find someone that you don't want to kill every day - that's your soulmate.
