I am not sure I completely understand this question, but I am going to assume you are asking how Capitalism improves itself, how Capitalism in 2007 is better than Capitalism in 1907.

Modern revolutions due to Capitalism is making much of the misery on Earth a thing of the past. For example, in 1907, most jobs were in manufacturing. Today, they are in service. This isn't a bad thing (despite what Lou Dobbs would tell you) after all, doctors, architects, and accountants are all considered part of the service sector, and what do you think parents dream of more; for their child to become a doctor, or for their child to become an assembly line operator? Improved technology is now doing most of the more undesirable work, which we are much richer overall (due to the increase in productivity, which benefits everyone) and we are able to take more rewarding, lucrative jobs for the sake of enjoyment.

We are also seeing an increase in communication that is moving people out of the big corporate offices and allowing them to run a small company with every bit of alacrity as a big business. 90% of all businesses in the U.S in 2006 were small businesses. People are finding it more rewarding to own and setting the rules for their own company than miring in the crushing bureaucracy of a large company.

As a society, Capitalism's primary benefit is that it allows us to further express our own individuality, which as we see over time is moving further and further away from a polarized society of aristocrat vs poor and towards a society where mobility between the two makes the distinction all but invisible.

Capitalism will bring China to Democracy. It will come with a whimper. As more Chinese feel the power of their consumerism they will desire more freedom. Capitalism is not evil Greed and corruption is evil. When Capitalist don't follow rules or run amok as with this administration our entire system becomes evil.
The desire for things and possessions is not necessarily evil; but part of Human Nature. That is why Communism fails because people have an inner need to better themselves.
What is evil is when Capitalists lose their Humanity with their greed for so much more that things go on like Enron where many people where hurt.
All through our History laws have been enacted to stop excesses in business that can injure the common man. This Administration has allowed Big Business to run all over us Oil, Drug Companies and Insurance Companies. Never mind the Companies that are making Billions in Iraq. Much unaccounted for. Capitalism is not evil Some Humans are then their is Bill Gates who realizes he has as much money as any man needs and wishes to spread it to those that need it most in the World.

capitalism in it's pure form only leads to suffering. So the best thing for capitalism is to adopt some of communism's ideas.

Greater participation in corporate ownership would be a fabulous start (ie, all employees are co-owners in the company).

Also, greater information to allow better decision-making about fair trade/free trade items would assist in these goals.
