I saw the season 1 finale where her character died but her ghost remained. But I missed the first few episodes of Ghost Whisperer second season (current season).

from wikipedia: She was killed when she was caught by a plane crash as she was driving in Season One's "Free Fall," and she was helped to cross over by Melinda in the Season Two premiere "Love Never Dies."
If you saw the one with the plane crash read on. If not, STOP!
Melinda kept seeing a pilot and flight attendant around town freezing to death who didn't think they'd died, and she got Andrea to help her call all the airlines about a plane from over seas that was about to go down. Andrea's brother was supposed to be on that plane! Then there was a jetliner downed just outside of town. Andrea jumped in a car and raced over there. By the end of the second part, (it was a 2-part episode), we saw it was Andrea that was killed, and not her brother.

As you know, they killed her off at the end of the first season. She was killed in a plane crash (actually, she was driving, and a plane crashed into her).
Since then, she has not been back on the show. They brought in the chunky woman lawyer from The Practice to take her place as Jennifer Love Hewitt's partner and friend (though the new girl doesn't know about her gift yet).

yeah, she was killed off the end of last season...
I really prefer Camyrn on the show then her.. she has more personality and I think there is more opportunity for story lines with her and her son because of their husband/father being dead....

there are 2 evil spirits (the laughing man and the man in the hat) they are trying to keep souls earth bound (hasn't said why) sorry its not much help

There was a plane crash and it hit her car while she was driving. She thought it was her brother that died but it actually was her that was dead.

they killed her off but she (theactress ) got movie opps and wanted out of the show .I love camryn manheim on the show i think she adds something to the show. I love the show btw.
